Pictures taken June 14, 2009. Under
development, Campbell Soup's Suburban Style , Motor Car Oriented World
Headquarters and Office Campus to be leased to other companies. When completed,
campus will bring tons of air pollution from increased car traffic to Camden,
New Jersey yearly. Campbell's has no plans to incorporate existing commuter rail
lines into complex, or the mixed-use residential and retail components as called
for in NJ Smart Growth ( NJ State Planning Dept.) guidelines, although tens of
millions of taxpayers money has been allocated to the project. Campbell's is
calling its development the "Gateway to Camden," but the complex will be closed
to the public, and closed to everyone from aprox 5pm to 8am the next day ( or
whatever office hours will be) Monday to Friday, closed 24 hours per day
weekends and holidays. No accommodation has been made for the public realm. For
more information, read

Controversy.
